Rubí Jove invites you to reflect on transgender reality
In the framework of COLOR Week, the Torre Bassas Youth Centre is hosting the film club screening of Trans Visibility
Rubí Jove (Young Rubí) joins the first edition of COLOR Week with its film club screening of Visibilitat Trans (Trans Visibility), which will be held this Wednesday at 6pm at the Torre Bassas Youth Centre. The date coincides with the upcoming commemoration on 31 March of the International Transgender Day of Visibility.
The activity will kick off by showing one of the episodes of La Veneno, the series by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi that narrates the life of LGTBI icon Cristina Ortiz ‘La Veneno’. Then a debate will be opened, led by Irene Soriano, a sexologist who runs a sexuality and partner advice office at Torre Bassas. It will include a dynamic to help participants understand trans reality and reflect on everything that could be done to fight the discrimination that transgender people face.
Spaces are limited. So please register in advance, for free, on the Rubí Jove website.
That same afternoon, also at 6pm, the service has prepared a guided tour of the urban artworks in the city. This proposal is also part of COLOR Week.
